Club History
The Rotary Club of Metropolitan Pateros is a chapter of Rotary International, a global network of community service organizations. The Rotary Club of Metropolitan Pateros, chartered on June 2, 2011. Our club number is: C000083906. RCMP consists of 26 active members, with 10 male and 16 female Rotarians. Our club is dedicated to serving the local and international communities through various impactful projects and initiatives.
Weekly Meetings
We hold our regular club meetings every Thursday at 6:00 PM. Our meeting venue is located at #89 P. Rosales St., Brgy. Sta. Ana, Pateros, Metro Manila. These gatherings are a cornerstone of our club's activities, providing a platform for planning, collaboration, and fellowship.
Our Sister Clubs
We are proud to be connected with both local and international sister clubs. Our local sister club is the Rotary Club of Las Pinas D3830, with our partnership established on July 26, 2024. Internationally, we are partnered with the Rotary Club of Cheonan Cheonryong, a relationship that began in July 2023.
Youth Engagement
Our commitment to youth development is reflected in our support for the Rotaract Club of Metropolitan Pateros – San Antonio, which boasts 20 members and holds the Rotary International ID #8825660. Additionally, we sponsor the Interact Club of Saint Genevieve School of Pateros, with the ID #221852, fostering leadership and service among young individuals.
Signature Projects
Our club has undertaken numerous signature projects that have made a significant impact on various communities:
- Yearly participation in “BRIGADA ESKWELA” as stakeholders in Comembo Elementary School and Maria Concepcion Cruz High School.
- Annual donations of school uniforms, supplies, and slippers to Tabtabagan and Bugasi Elementary Schools in Banna Ilocos Norte.
- Annual donations and feeding programs for students of Kamias High School in Porac Pampanga, an Aeta community.
- A three-year tree planting project in Brgy. San Andres, Rizal, in coordination with Haribon Foundation, planting 1,250 seedlings.
- Pillar Grant Project: “LET’S MAKE IT WORK! Sustaining Breastfeeding and Work,” benefiting 60 mothers.
- Donation of medical equipment to the Municipality of Pateros, including Clinical Centrifuge, Hematocrit Centrifuge, and Pipettor.
- Global Grant Projects: “RED RIBBON PROJECT” and “RED RIBBON PROJECT 2,” providing medical laboratory aid to Pateros.
- Global Grant: “HEARTBEAT PATEROS,” donating 10 units of AED to various health centers and departments in Pateros.
- Priority Grant: “Let’s Make it Work Part 2,” continuing our support for breastfeeding mothers in line with the DOH’s First 1000 Days Project.
